Cameras, India and a coming Departure

As you may or may not know, Celeste is going to India in the middle of November, and will be coming back a month later. It takes quite a bit of planning and arranging to go on a mission trip to the other side of the world, and one of the problems that we had was the lack of a good camera that would suit her situation. We toyed around with a few different ideas, but I finally just decided to buy a camera. She can take it to India, and I can use it as an alternative to my monstrous camera in regular life. I got a Canon Powershot that came a couple days ago. I have since enjoyed taking a few photos while I learn how to use it. You can see those below.
